Summer Showcase 2025 - Junior Academy Rehearsals

Our brilliantly talented Junior Academy are currently hard at work rehearsing for their abridged version of Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’, ready to take centre stage at our end-of-term Summer Showcase. This magical production will give our students the chance to perform in front of an enthusiastic audience of parents, carers, friends and family — and we can’t wait for you to see what they’ve been working on!

Each year, our Summer Showcase is a wonderful opportunity for all our students to shine, demonstrating everything they’ve learned and achieved in their Dancing, Singing, and Acting classes. From confident line delivery and expressive character work to new choreography, harmonies, and vocal technique, our students will take to the stage with pride and energy.

This year is no exception, and our Junior Academy are going under the sea to bring the beloved tale of The Little Mermaid to life. With catchy songs, lively dances and colourful characters, this performance promises to be a heartwarming highlight of the showcase.

Today, we sent all students home with a letter outlining their costume requirements, as the big day draws ever closer. Rehearsals are in full swing, and the excitement is growing!

At MAPA, we’re always incredibly proud of our entire community — from our Little Academy students aged 3–6, taking their very first steps into performing arts, to our seasoned performers in the Main Academy aged 6–18. Their enthusiasm, dedication, and creativity continue to amaze us every single term.
