Summer Showcase 2025 - Senior Academy Rehearsals

Our incredibly talented Senior Academy are hard at work preparing for this year’s end-of-term Summer Showcase — and we couldn’t be more excited to see what they have in store! With a variety of material drawn from an exciting mix of musical theatre productions, this year’s performance promises to be dynamic, moving, and full of energy.

As always, the Summer Showcase is a brilliant opportunity for our students to demonstrate the progress they’ve made across all areas of performing arts. They’ve been polishing their choreography in Dance, working on vocals and harmonies in Singing, and developing their characterisation and stagecraft in Acting — all coming together to create a performance that is both professional and full of heart.

This term, our Senior Academy are tackling content from a rich selection of musicals, including the heartfelt and fast-paced Come From Away, the classic and charismatic Guys and Dolls, and the fun, high-energy 13: The Musical. Each piece brings something unique to the stage, allowing our students to explore different styles and storytelling techniques, and to really challenge themselves creatively.

We’re incredibly proud of the passion, maturity and commitment our Senior Academy students continue to show week after week. Their dedication to perfecting their craft and supporting one another is what makes MAPA so special.

We can’t wait to welcome parents, carers, friends and family to watch them shine in what is sure to be a showcase full of talent, teamwork and theatrical magic!
