If your child spends their days singing Defying Gravity around the house or dreaming of stepping into the magical world of Oz, then this is the perfect half-term activity for them.

This May half term, Medway Academy of Performing Arts (MAPA) is bringing the magic of Wicked to Chatham with an exciting three-day musical theatre workshop designed especially for children aged 6–12.

Running from Tuesday 26th May to Thursday 28th May, from 9:30am – 3:30pm at Waterfront UTC, Chatham, children will spend three unforgettable days singing, dancing, acting and creating alongside other young performers from across Medway and Kent.

What Can Children Expect at the Wicked Workshop?

Our Wicked workshop is packed with high-energy musical theatre fun inspired by one of the world’s most loved musicals. Children will learn routines and songs from hit numbers including:

Alongside learning musical theatre performance skills, children will also take part in themed arts and crafts activities, confidence-building games and team challenges designed to encourage creativity and friendship.
